Financial Controller (F/M/D)

For our client, an international, family-owned company in the pharmaceutical sector, we are looking for a skilled Financial Controller to join the Warsaw-based team. In this role, you will support both the local Polish business and selected regional clusters. Key Responsibilities:
  • Local Finance Partnership
  • Oversee payments and ensure accurate cost allocation
  • Ensure compliance with Polish tax and reporting requirements
  • Lead the monthly closing process
  • Ensure adherence to local accounting standards and regulations
  • Prepare statutory financial statements and transfer pricing documentation
  • Act as a key contact for internal and external audits
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning
  • Build and enhance financial models and planning tools
  • Deliver insights to support strategic decision-making
  • Prepare regular financial reports for local and regional stakeholders
  • Deliver ad hoc analyses for senior management
  • Support regional reporting processes
  • Monitor payables/receivables and manage cash flow forecasting

What We’re Looking For:

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in controlling, accounting, or FP&A (pharma or FMCG)
  • Strong knowledge of Polish accounting standards, tax regulations, and IFRS
  • Experience in international or matrix organizations
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
