For our client, an international, family-owned company in the pharmaceutical sector, we are looking for a skilled Financial Controller to join the Warsaw-based team. In this role, you will support both the local Polish business and selected regional clusters. Key Responsibilities:
- Local Finance Partnership
- Oversee payments and ensure accurate cost allocation
- Ensure compliance with Polish tax and reporting requirements
- Lead the monthly closing process
- Ensure adherence to local accounting standards and regulations
- Prepare statutory financial statements and transfer pricing documentation
- Act as a key contact for internal and external audits
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning
- Build and enhance financial models and planning tools
- Deliver insights to support strategic decision-making
- Prepare regular financial reports for local and regional stakeholders
- Deliver ad hoc analyses for senior management
- Support regional reporting processes
- Monitor payables/receivables and manage cash flow forecasting
What We’re Looking For:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in controlling, accounting, or FP&A (pharma or FMCG)
- Strong knowledge of Polish accounting standards, tax regulations, and IFRS
- Experience in international or matrix organizations
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
